EDIT PAGES - PAGEBUILDER

STEP ONE:
The first step is to edit the page you want to change.
1.
 Navigate to the Pages Menu from your Dashboard, hover over the page and click EDIT.
2. View the page while logged in and select EDIT PAGE from the top menu bar.

STEP TWO:
Welcome to the Page Builder system! From here you can see all the building blocks of your page. Each element is contained within it’s own module and can be edited independently of others.
To edit your content, find the module you need to edit, and click it’s SETTINGS BUTTON.

STEP THREE:
Now that you’ve opened the module, it’s time to update the text! This is a simple text box for edits. When you’re finished, click the SAVE & EXIT button to save your module.

 

STEP FOUR:
Now that you’ve updated the text you were after, it’s time to SAVE THE PAGE to push your updates to the people. To Save your changes, simply click the UPDATE button on the right-hand sidebar.

 

EDIT PAGES - VISUALBUILDER

STEP ONE:
The first step is to enable the Visual Builder on the page you wish to edit.
1.
 View the page while logged in, then click the ENABLE VISUAL BUILDER button in the top-menu bar

STEP TWO:
Welcome to the Visual Builder! This system works the same as the Page Builder, but from the front instead of the back. All the same modules make up this system, but you see them as they are displayed to the viewer. To edit a module you may:
1. Click into any text section and type
2. Hover over a module and open it’s settings.

STEP THREE:
Now that you’ve edited the content you needed, save your changes by clicking the EXIT VISUAL BUILDER button, followed by clicking SAVE & EXIT to confirm.

REVERT MISTAKES - UNDO CHANGES

Whoops – you made a mistake! Let’s fix it.

So, you’ve messed up your page somehow, don’t worry! There is a system in place to help fix this.

STEP ONE:
Edit your page by selecting it in the PAGES menu, or selecting EDIT PAGE from the top bar when viewing.

STEP TWO:
Click the REVISIONS button labeled ‘Browse’ in the right-hand sidebar.

STEP THREE:
Welcome to the revisions screen! Here you will see lots of code you won’t understand, but the important sections are the TIME STAMP and PREVIOUS buttons.

STEP FOUR:
Click the PREVIOUS button to go back a saved version of the page. Watch the TIME STAMP to make sure you’ve gone backward.

STEP FIVE:
Now that you’ve restored an older version, click UPDATE from the side-bar to push your restored page to the viewers.

EDIT FOOTER

Your footer is a Global Element – it appears on every page so cannot be edited from the Pages Menu.

STEP ONE
To edit the footer, navigate to the Divi Library to access saved and global modules.

STEP TWO
Hover over your footer module titled “footerMAIN” and select “EDIT” to bring up the footer modules.

STEP THREE
Welcome to your Footer Module! Here you will see the familiar Page Builder system you are familiar with. You may open any of the modules that are present in your footer and change their settings.

STEP FOUR
Now that you’ve modified you footer, publish your changes to the entire site by clicking “PUBLISH”

EDIT/ADD MEMBERS

STEP ONE:
The first step is to navigate to the MEMBERS section.

STEP TWO:
Welcome to the Members System! Each member is listed here. Existing members can be modified by hovering over and selecting “EDIT“, or new members can be added using the “Add New Member” Button.

STEP THREE:
Welcome to the Members Section! Here you can add the information for each individual member.
Fields to be filled:
1. Name
2. Description (Appears on member page)
3. Category (Must be entered)
4. Designation (Business Category)
5. Details (Phone, Email, Website)
6. Short Description (Business Name)
7. Headshot (Try for square images)
8. Member Single Gallery (Appears on member page, suggest a headshot + business logo)

STEP FOUR:
Click “PUBLISH” or “UPDATE” to push your changes to the Members Page!
